Kona is one of the finest black animals. His bloodline is superb!  His dam's lineage is from Bolivian Black Thunder (Sire) and Peppermint Patty (Dam).  Kona's sire is from Mile High The Reverend Mr. Black who comes from Maple Brook Fandango and Rogue's J'ebon.  He placed 2nd and 3rd at the Great Western Alpaca Show.  The judge fell in love with great crimp, fineness, shine, and uniformity in his blanket, let alone his excellent conformation.  2007 & 2008 Elbert County Fair placed 1st in Fleece Show.  Kona has an excellent demeanor.

Wow!  This guy has placed in the top 3 in Halter / Fleece shows across the nation. This stud has it all, and he is proving it in competition and offspring.  Need to improve the fiber in your herd?  His fiber has structure, conformation, matchstick bundling, merino-like crimp, density and uniformity!  His sister (from Vesuvius) sold for $56K at the 2005 Futurity show.  Val’s 2005-2008 offspring carries his excellent fiber characteristics and conformation all the way through.  Every cria shown in the ring has placed high in their class.

You will fall in love this guy.  His fiber has excellent crimp, and a handle that is hard to find on a dark animal.  His fiber has so much luster it is amazing.  Conformationally this alpaca is near perfect.  This is a stud that will add so much to your herd.  If his fiber isn’t enough, look at his bloodline!  Black Mesquite’s awards are too numerous to mention but his offspring says it all.  Look at this bloodline in Magical Farm’s Herdsire Catalog, you will be amazed.  Esteban’s first baby was born in June 06, carries excellent fiber and great conformation and was black out of a brown dam. Boreas is one of the cutest alpacas we have ever seen.  He is the son of the Goddess Aurora, named after the Greek God of the North Wind.  His bone structure and fiber characteristics match his Sire’s perfectly… great crimp from head to toe, shine, dense with great handle.  This guy is Valentino all over again with more color in his fleece.  Fall Festival 2006, he placed 2nd in a class of 8, (the judge raved about his conformation and fiber), Great Western Alpaca Show 2007, he placed 5th in a class of 8, 2007 Elbert County Fair placed 1st in Fleece Show.
